Vanessa Mdee, the chic Tanzanian songstress, actress and T.V. host has finally been released from custody in Tanzania. She was arrested a few weeks ago on charges of dealing in narcotics and spent a few days in custody but is now out on bail. She is still awaiting her drug results from the government chemist.
The crooner abandoned her studies in law at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa a few years ago to pursue a career in entertainment.
Vanessa’s sister Nancy Namtero Mdee, host of the T.V. Show Straight Up also made news 2 years ago when it emerged she had married a pastor and ditched the celebrity lifestyle.

One fundamental error , Crooner is a male vocalist who sings popular songs, with background music of jazz or a band. The use of an appropriate wordings against your subject ( Female singer in this case) is a sine qua non particular in the legal profession. Please be guided accordingly. I thought the term crooner with current usage refers to both male and female singers, but I stand guided.
